Commemorative Issue: Conference on the 250th Anniversary of America’s Founding
Introduction
On April 17-18, the Liberty University History Department sponsored a conference commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Founding. We were blessed to have over thirty students and professors present papers on a wide variety of topics, including military history, politics, religion, intellectual history, and cultural history. This issue of Bound Away is dedicated to presenting their research, along with papers addressing the history, legacy, and influence of the Founding submitted by students unable to attend the conference. It is our hope that you will find this issue to be an especially rich repository of scholarship addressing one of the most important events in human history.Articles
