About This Journal
Bound Away is an open access digital journal of Liberty University’s graduate program in history. The central goal for this journal is to present academic history from a Christian worldview perspective. The subject matter is not required to be religious in nature, but should conform to the basic principles of Christian integrity and excellence as outlined by the Department of History. The journal’s editorial board primarily seeks scholarly articles and book reviews from graduate history students (of any university), but we also welcome submissions from faculty and private scholars. Non-traditional submissions such as documentary films, public history projects, and archival collection materials are welcome as well.
