Description

Prompted by the University of Kentucky’s formation of a not-for-profit LLC as a revenue strategy, this study investigates the impact and future implications of LLCs and private equity in NCAA athletic departments. The rationale is rooted in the growing financial pressures and opportunities following the House settlement, with athletic directors seeking innovative ways to generate revenue. This research aims to understand how these models affect revenue generation and distribution across Power Four programs.
