Who Can Submit?

Submission to the Montview Journal is limited to Liberty University faculty, staff, and students, as well as authors solicited by the editors.

Benefits of Submitting to Montview

Montview is designed to be a platform for disseminating excellent scholarship produced and/or curated by Liberty University faculty, staff, and students. Articles published in the journal will be made available on the internet to be discovered by other scholars as well as the general public. Submitting to the journal will give you an opportunity to experience the review process. If your paper is approved for publication, it will give you an achievement that you can add to your CV. Finally, if you are published in Montview, you will receive monthly emails reporting how many times your paper has been downloaded.

Biblical Integration Requirements

Either in a single paragraph or integrated into the body of the article, please include a biblical connection to the research.

Formatting Requirements

- Please submit only Microsoft Word or RTF files

- Include an abstract at the beginning (150 - 300 words)

- 12-point Times New Roman font

- Double spaced

- 1” margins

- Include frequent citations formatted according to your discipline (APA, MLA, Turabian)

- Include a Reference page at the end

Rights for Authors and Scholars Crossing

Authors must hold the copyright to the article. While they must agree to permit the document to be published in Montview, they will, as the copyright-holder, retain the right to ask that the article be removed from the journal at any time should they desire to do so.

The failure of Scholars Crossing to exercise or enforce any right or provision in the policies or the Submission Agreement does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any term of the Submission Agreement or these policies is found to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the Submission Agreement and these policies remain in full force and effect. These policies and the Submission Agreement constitute the entire agreement between Scholars Crossing and the Author(s) regarding submission of the Article.

All requests for permission to reuse content published in Montview should be emailed to the editors.
