Aims & Scope

Offer students a professional means by which they can showcase their ability in a language
Provide faculty/students with mentoring and support
Incentivize (and thus increase) student motivation by offering the possibility of publication/mentorship
Continue to bolster the collegial/academic activity of the department/faculty and students
Unite faculty in dialogue and agreement regarding common standards for student work and achievement, ultimately resulting in the creation of a rubric (or possibly rubrics) to assess student writing at both the course and program levels
Be an example (at Liberty University) of student/faculty interaction and teaching innovation
