Abstract
The purpose of this analysis is to gain a thorough understanding of human trafficking in the Alabama. The illegal issue of this analysis is for those who lack a sense of human trafficking, which surrounds the communities where they reside. The theory guiding this study is due to the complexity of the issue globally around the world as it explains the causes of human trafficking amongst victims, which include those who experience poverty, lack of access to job opportunities, natural disasters, and lack of legal protection for immigrants. Additionally, the purpose of this dissertation is to provide insights into the signs of human trafficking, different types of human trafficking, hidden problems, and locations where the crime takes place. The qualitative data for this dissertation will be collected through observation at virtual or in-person support groups in the US. Citizens. Human trafficking has affected many lives of those around the world by robbing them of their dignity, rights, and freedom for their lives every day. Providing citizens around the world the ability to act in their community, speak up when something is strange, and being able to know the facts on human trafficking helps to stop this type of crime from occurring. These findings indicate the need for awareness to have an explicit knowledge of what to look for in human trafficking and the hidden problems globally among different countries, as well as how there is a need for more programs to help protect those who may have experienced being trafficked.
