Abstract

By embedding a relational database of chronology within Scripture, the inspired authors handed down a framework so precise that it surpasses archaeology, carbon dating, and every other ancient record as the most reliable means of reconstructing history—shedding light on the why and how of biblical events by specifying their when.

This study defends that thesis, demonstrating that the Bible presents a continuous timeline from Adam to Christ—a mathematically coherent whole often overlooked or misunderstood by modern scholarship. Many modern chronologists assign speculative dates to Abraham, Moses, or David without grounding them in the Genesis genealogies. Few construct a defensible framework working backward in time that links the Apostolic Age to the Exodus, the patriarchs, and ultimately to the true Year of Creation. Because the biblical timeline is an integrated system, misplacing even one link in the chain necessarily disjoints the whole. Efforts to justify flawed or incomplete chronology in the Bible often lead to significant doctrinal errors. This research corrects such deficiencies.

Rather than privileging extrabiblical synchronisms, the analysis draws primarily on the inspired record—genealogies, reign lengths, prophetic markers, and astronomical data embedded in Scripture—to reconstruct a unified chronology of the biblical narrative. In doing so, it resolves famous disputes, unravels persistent misreadings, and establishes the Bible as the gold standard for measuring the history of the Ancient Biblical World™ (ABW).
