Abstract

This abstract presents an overview of the dissertation-in-praxis proposal. It highlights its core elements: the problem under investigation, the study's purpose, and the methodologies employed to achieve its expected outcomes. The research took place at Temple Christian School, the high school division dedicated to becoming the premier Christian educational institution in The Bahamas. Committed to academic excellence, its mission is to deliver an innovative, faith-based curriculum that integrates advanced technology, equipping students to become lifelong learners and effective problem solvers within their communities. Despite its powerful vision and mission, a significant gap remains between its stated purpose and the current high school curriculum. To bridge this gap, the proposal presented a strategic plan to develop and implement a curriculum that seamlessly integrates biblical principles while aligning with national examinations and college admission standards. It outlined a comprehensive approach to data collection, analysis, and evaluation using quantitative and qualitative methods. Ultimately, this initiative ensured that the curriculum authentically reflected the school's mission, strengthening its commitment to Christ-centered education. The study's findings indicate that most teachers at TCHS understand and value the importance of integrating biblical principles into academic subjects. Observations of classroom instruction revealed that teachers effectively connect faith and learning within their subject areas, leading to enhanced student engagement and a deeper appreciation of biblical truths integrated with academic content.
