Abstract
The dissertation-in-praxis project was to implement a security operations manual. Defending houses of worship has become an ever-increasing need for churches. The rise of threats against faith-based organizations is growing, and the unique nature of sanctuaries makes them an ever-increasing soft target. This researcher’s helped to implement a robust security and emergency plan in the church to ensure the security team will perform in a correct and professional manner. The church security manual identifies the following areas such as natural disaster, active shooters, and emergencies protocol.
