Abstract
Former President George W Bush initiated the “No Child Left Behind Act” in 2001 aimed at improving schools and the child’s ability to learn. The phrase coined by the former president is still relevant today. The writer believes this phrase can be initiated in this research because no child or children should be left behind in any instance, especially in the Kingdom of God. According to Mark 10:13–14, King James Version: “And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, ‘Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.’”
Jesus wanted all children to be included as there is no exclusion in the kingdom of God. Children are very impressionable, and it is important to reach them at an early age with the gospel of Jesus Christ. All people have been given the power of choice. However, the writer believes that every child can be reached for Christ at their age of accountability. The age of accountability can be whenever the child understands Christ as He is being presented and is ready to accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
The researcher will present research on Childhood Evangelism for children ages five to ten years of age in the student’s local church, Kingdom Cathedral. The research will provide a platform for reaching children in their own element and level of play. Why not reach children where they are and where they relate the most, which is having fun and playing?
