Abstract
Allan Worthington was born on February 5, 1929 and grew up in Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama and played professional baseball from 1953 to 1969. Mr. Worthington coached the Liberty University baseball team from 1973 through 1980, mentoring several Liberty players who went on to play professional baseball.
