Abstract
This Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing thesis submission focuses on the literary approach and research processes of Agatha Christie. It includes an impetus and vision for the thesis project, a scientific inquiry into a sampling of the poisons Ms. Christie incorporated as murder weapons, and an analysis of texts from a variety of her published works. The creative manuscript portion incorporates the detective genre, the poison research, and this student’s interpretation of Ms. Christie’s writing style and distinction.
