A God of second chances introduces the two
A story of grief and love…
A story of letting God in to move forward…
Son of a Preacher Man is a love story exploring loss, love, and surrender.
Set in the present day, contemplating common struggles of everyday folks. Many might not look to an obvious choice to help ease their grief and suffering…God. This screenplay looks to explore what a trajectory of two people may look like when they surrender to God.
This thesis seeks to explore the God of second chances through the screenplay, Son of a Preacher Man, and in the hope that it makes the reader/viewer walk away with the wanting of their own questions answered, with the wanting to seek their own exploration of God. The end state of this thesis is to have the reader/viewer of the screenplay want to discover their own faith and relationship with God.
