Abstract
This presentation was given by Dr. Anita Knight as part of the Jerry Falwell Library's Faculty Author Series. Attachment theory, a psychosocial developmental theory, has provided a broad and enduring theoretical framework for understanding human relationships from the cradle to the grave. This presentation illustrates how attachment theory highlights two pathways for relating to God, and how one pathway may lead to healing and resilience from early relationship injuries.
