Presented on September 20, 2007 at Liberty University at a meeting of local school districts, entitled "High Stakes Accountability In Transition: How to improve your school’s performance on The State Performance Plan," sponsored by the Central Virginia Transition Council and Liberty University's student chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children.
Abstract
This presentation is the first in a series addressing best practices in providing transition services for children moving towards post-secondary life experiences. Central Virginia’s school districts and the community at large wish to evaluate practice in the school districts and develop more effective practices as transition providers.
