The mission of the Liberty University Digital Commons is capturing, preserving, and freely distributing the scholarship of our community.

What faculty say

"I see an interesting opportunity with the unique feedback provided by Digital Commons. More than just informing an author of what and when an article was downloaded, it can even provide the search terms scholars used to find and download one’s work. This lets the author see the current interests of those reading and writing about a particular topic. For example, in my article on servant leadership, a number of “hits” were made by those searching the phrase “biblical servant.” There may be a strong interest in what it means to be a biblical servant or to understand what biblical servant-hood looks like. Thanks to Digital Commons, I now know a possible new direction to explore in my research area."
