JFL, Terrace Conference Room (001)

Description

After his profound musical abilities became apparent as a child, Joseph Haydn was sent to music school, where his talent and musicianship continued to develop into his teenage years. After being kicked out of St. Stephens at age seventeen, he made a way for himself through small jobs until he landed a position composing for Austrian royalty, which is where many of his greatest works were born out of. Implications can be drawn from a modern musical analysis of the fourth movement of his 88th Symphony that provide insight to his compositional style and genius.
