Research Week is a multidisciplinary annual event sponsored by the Graduate School, the Center for Research and Scholarship, and the Jerry Falwell Library. This event is designed to highlight excellent research and scholarship produced by Liberty University students.

Participants:

  • 329 initial applications
  • 270 final presentations (116 poster presentations, 115 oral presentations, 19 juried art, two performing arts, and 18 three minute thesis)
  • 14 schools and colleges represented and 96 programs of study
  • 72 presentations from the School of Health Sciences, the most represented school or college
  • 56 presentations from the College of Arts & Sciences, the second most represented school or college
  • 30 presentations from both the School of Engineering and the School of Communication & the Arts, the third most represented schools or colleges
  • 20 presentations from Biomedical Sciences, the most represented program of study

Award Winners:

  • Presentations judged by 78 volunteer faculty judges
  • 28 first place honors: 12 Graduate and 16 Undergraduate
  • 24 second place honors: 9 Graduate and 15 Undergraduate
  • 17 third place honors: 6 Graduate and 11 Undergraduate
