Abstract
There are various apologetic methods in the current evangelical milieu that claim biblical authority, yet deny authority in their methodological approach. This study evaluates the nature of biblical authority in two specific areas the Scriptures as authoritative standard and demonstrative power. Further, the study evaluates the various apologetic methods, such as the classical, evidential, and presuppositional methodological approaches. It is the conclusion of this study that only the presuppositional approach gives the proper emphasis on biblical authority.
