Abstract
Barbara Sherman was born on August 5, 1944. She attended Fairmont State Teachers College and got her M.Ed degree from Lynchburg College. She came to teach at Liberty University in 1982. Dr. Sherman was the chairman of the Bruckner Learning Center from 1990 – 2005 and helped to create one of the first set of classes for the Distance Learning Program and Liberty University. She is currently the Director of Individualized Programs of Study and the Center for Professional and Continuing Education.
