Dr. Moon was born on July 5, 1934. He grew up in Lynchburg VA and was a childhood friend of Jerry Falwell. He attended Baptist Bible College and worked in the Lovegrove Baptist Church as a Sunday School teacher and music leader. In the mid 1960’s he joined the staff at Thomas Road Baptist Church. Dr. Moon is currently on the board of directors for Liberty University.
