Abstract
The purpose of this dissertation is to find the proper direction for the Christian life through John Piper's ministry, preaching, and pastoral preaching on the basis of the supremacy of God, and to challenge Christians to live and minister with this direction. This dissertation will examine Piper's faith and ideological background. Also, it will examine Piper's ministry in worship, prayer, discipleship, missions, preaching, and pastoral preaching and it will review his sermons relative to how he uses this direction in various applications in his ministry. It will propose the possibility of the Christian life as a way to be victorious over the world.
