Abstract
Many people own Bibles today, but few read them. The Bible is valuable to the daily lives of everyone. By looking at what Jesus said about Scripture the Bible can be seen as vital and important to life. Jesus affirms what constitutes the Scriptures, its historical reliability, its divine origin, it inerrancy, its divine and final authority in all matters, it supremacy and its imperishability. Jesus sets forth the Bible as the very words of God which makes Scripture relevant to anyone in any age.
